Life is funny like that: Turning Pain into Purpose

Life has a funny way of throwing curveballs when we least expect it. Reflecting on the past three years of my life, I've often found myself saying just that. Hindsight, as they say, is always 20/20. In 2021, I experienced the heartbreaking loss of my sister's husband, someone who was not just family, but a dear friend and confidant. The grief was profound, watching someone I love navigate through such a tragic event.

Then, almost exactly a year later, another bombshell hit as my now ex-husband revealed his desire to end our marriage. It was a seismic shift that turned my world completely upside down. Yet, amidst the rubble of shattered dreams and plans, I found solace in the unexpected - even humorously attributing cosmic alignment, like Uranus, for the revelations.

Prior to these upheavals, I had been a stay-at-home mom, nurturing aspirations of starting my own business while delving into topics close to my heart. From self-worth and confidence to the painful experiences of miscarriage and job loss, I felt a calling to share my journey, believing that our stories have the power to heal and inspire others.

Life, I've come to realize, presents us with opportunities for growth, often disguised as challenges. It's a classroom where lessons repeat until we gather the wisdom they offer. Recently, amidst my reflections, I've pondered the significance of celestial movements like Chiron aligning with the North Node, stirring the depths of our beings. Chiron, known as the wounded healer, reminds us that our scars hold the potential for profound transformation, while the North Node beckons us toward evolution and growth.

My sister sent me a podcast featuring my nephews, who shared their journey of loss and resilience following the death of their father. Despite the darkness that engulfed them, they found solace in faith, witnessing divine intervention amidst their struggles. Their story, much like mine, is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the transformative power of sharing our experiences.

Brene' Brown's "The Power of Vulnerability" echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and connection in our collective human experience. Through vulnerability, we forge bonds and offer hope to those traversing similar paths.

For me, astrology serves as a guiding light, reaffirming my faith in a higher purpose. It's a tool for co-creating my reality and understanding the cosmic dance of life. With Aruna, my endeavor to blend astrology with storytelling, I aim to illuminate paths of healing and empowerment for others.

As I embark on this journey of self-discovery and service, I'm filled with hope and anticipation for what lies ahead. Good things are on the horizon, I can sense it. And to all those who choose to accompany me on this voyage, I extend my deepest gratitude. Together, we'll navigate the twists and turns of life, finding laughter, purpose, and perhaps a bit of cosmic wisdom along the way. After all, life is funny like that.
